I did it!

I didn't think I could post my presentation on my blog, however after seeing a little "Blogger" link on Slide Share, I realized that I was wrong.  Please disregard this section of my presentation.  Here is my second presentation.  In order to make it easier for people to provide criticism, I am looking for the following feedback:

1.  What do you think of moodle, both as a learner and potentially as an instructor/facilitator?
2.  What do you think about Slide Casts and Blogs?  Do you think these are able to be used in a large professional faculty at a University?
3.  What do you think overall about the presentation?  I attempted to be someone casual in my approach.  What are your thoughts about this?

Feel free to post either on my blog or in our forum.

Presentation update

After reviewing my presentation and looking at others, I have realized how much more I can do with my work.  The exiting part is that I will be able to revise my presentation and try something a little more creative.  I will post a link once the new version is complete.

Presentation link

Hi all,

Well, I've had some difficulty with loading my presentation and keeping the sound bites on the slides.  The short story is that I don't think most will be able to play the audio and I will have to explain each slide to the group.  I'm sure there is a way, but I'm just not there yet.

Attached is the link to my presentation and is available on slideshare.  If anyone has problems with the attachment, feel free to contact me.

I'll chat with you all later this week.

Emerging technologies - my first post

I've made the leap!  After reading, learning, lurking, hesitating, lurking some more, I've finally created a blog.  For the most part, I wasn't sure if there was a need for post my ideas (more because I didn't think anyone was interested in hearing them).  They are the initial ramblings of someone who is not altogether certain how this works, but is enjoying learning about them.

Now the fun part.... remembering my username and password for the next time I post!
